Christmas eve and so forth

Christmas eve

Christmas day

snow fun!

some of Mike's cousins

First things first Mike decided he wanted to be creative and make an olympic torch birthday gift for his brother in law. Let me just tell you I married a genius! I thought it was strange but hilarious at the same time you would never of known it was a present right?lol Next came Christmas eve where we ate sandwiches and opened presents at Mike's mothers house. That's a tradition we do every year. Then of course came Christmas . The boys got spoiled by there grandparents let me tell ya i'm glad it was two presents each this year. we ended up having to take some of there old toys to DI ! I had to get them all packed up and ready to go to Utah . We traveled with Mike's mother and step dad and his preggers sister with her husband and daughter. The grandparents took Rhett and there daughter Brooklyn. Those two just love being together! We stopped every hour along the way for the pregnant lady. You would think stopping every hour heading to Provo would be a pain in the butt but it actually was a good time and gave the kids a break from the car. Surprisingly we got to provo in a descent time. The thing that sucks is not many restaurants are open in provo on Christmas so we ended up having a Denny's dinner. Not the greatest but better than nothing! We got a hotel in orem where are room was next to grandparents. Mike's sister stayed with her husbands fam. The next day we headed to Heber met up with all Mike's cousin's he hasn't seen since our wedding . We all went sledding at some place where you pay. Now let me tell you a couple things. Snow clothes take forever to put on! I was ready to quit half way through and I was already done freezing to death! Gage was fell a couple times cause he had so much on he couldn't gain his balance. Another thing I was wondering why the heck somebody would pay to go sledding? Well it comes to show it's not nearly as hard of work! They had 400 foot man made hills with humps in them. They had the tubes for you and levers to take you up the hill in your tubes so you wouldn't have to climb all the way up youself. We all had lots of fun. I even took Gage down the big hill and he loved it. There was also a kiddy hill that not many people used so me and Gage made our way up and down the hill most of the two hours we were there! We went back to Mike's aunts house had soup and mingled. We went back to the hotel slept until about 2 and decided we couldn't sleep so we left for home got back at 7 and enjoyed a lazy day with a little bit of sleep. So far it was the greatest Christmas we have had. Family and fun! Happy New Years to everyone!

It was a great time! Brooklyn misses Rhett sooo much. She put the picture of the two of them on her wall right next to her bed.

This was the best Christmas I can ever remember having. Thanks, you guys, for making it all happen!

sounds awesome! yeah...we skipped out on taking our kids to see snow this year...it's just cold and wet and not worth the trouble. Plus, I'm not going to buy snow clothes to use once a year for an hour. :) but the sledding looked pretty cool! Hopefully worth it!
